Sula Open 2020 – Postponed

Sula Open 2020 – Postponed

With the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Sula Open 2020 just can’t be the tournament we want it to be. There will be travel restrictions for all international players, and a 10 days’ quarantine for all non-Norwegian players crossing the border to Norway.

This is a very tough decision for us, but we have made this decision together with PDGA Europe. European Open that was supposed to be two weekends after Sula are postponed – but we plan for Sula Open 2021 – and will try together with PDGA Europe to have Sula Open 2021 the weekend before Estonian Open and two weeks before European Open: then all international players can plan for these three elite tournaments in Europe next summer!

Registered players will get contacted via email from DG Scene.

We had big plans for the Sula Open 2020 – and have already invested a lot of cash in our championship course just this spring. We had rented a catamaran for the fiord player party, booked media crews and reserved the tournament center.

As a player, you now have two options – we hope that you can choose option one, that will by far be the best solution for everyone: 1) Keep your spot for the 2021 Sula Open – no refund. You are secured a spot for next year! 2) Refund: minus the DG Scene fees/Paypal fees

This information will be sent to the email address that you used in your registration, within a few days. The refund process will take some time, and we sincerely hope that you give us time to fix everything as good as we can.

Just wait for more instructions, the question that you have in mind will most likely be answered in the next email that you will receive in a few days. We really hope to see you at the Sula Open 2021!

PS! There will be another tournament on the dates Sula Open Euro Tour was scheduled – but NOT an international tournament due to the COVID 19-restrictions.
